Another Way Pregnancy Center’s (AWPC) annual fall banquet will be held on Thursday, October 22, 2026, from 6 until 9 p.m. at the Italian American Banquet Center at 39200 Five Mile Road, Livonia, MI 48154. 

Nationally renowned communicator and pro-life apologist Dr. Marc Newman will provide the keynote address. AWPC Executive Director Jennifer Trevathan will share a ministry update, and celebrate recent successes. 

Tickets are $60 a person, and tables for ten and twelve are available at a discount; tickets can be purchased at https://awpcfriends.org/events. 

Dr. Marc Newman is the author of the 2020 book “Contenders: A Church-Wide Strategy to Unmask Abortion, Defeat Its Advocates, Empower Christians, and Change the World.” The book provides strategies for Christians and churches to respond to pro-abortion arguments, address cultural shifts, and promote life-affirming alternatives. Newman is an apologist, professor, and he runs Speaker for Life, an organization that trains advocates nationwide in persuasive communication on abortion and related issues. Haili Gusa, Protect Life Michigan’s Speaking and Training Coordinator, will serve as the Emcee for the event. With a bachelor's degree in communication from Central Michigan University, Gusa equips the next generation of life defenders, traveling throughout the state to speak with thousands of Michigan students about the injustice of abortion and what young people can do to make a difference.
