You are invited to join Gary Michuta for the 2026–27 Thursday Evening Bible Study, beginning Thursday, September 10.
This year’s study will take a new approach, exploring Gary’s newest book, MESSIAH: Old Testament Prophecies Fulfilled in Christ, published earlier this year by Emmaus Road. The book examines the biblical evidence pointing to the identity of the Chosen One foretold throughout the Old Testament.
Gary will present the material chapter by chapter, providing additional background and insights drawn from his experience as the book’s author. Purchasing the book is not required to participate.
The Bible Study will continue to meet on its regular schedule—the second and fourth Thursdays of each month at 7 p.m.—in the Convent Living Room.
For those unfamiliar with Gary Michuta, he is a nationally known Catholic author, speaker, and apologist and a lifelong parishioner of St. Michael the Archangel. He is widely respected for helping Catholics explain and share their faith with greater confidence and understanding. Gary is a frequent guest and substitute host on Catholic media outlets, teaches on several homeschool networks, and serves on the parish’s OCIA team.
He has taught in-depth Bible studies at St. Michael’s since the early 2000s and is the author of numerous books, including Why Catholic Bibles Are Bigger, The Gospel Truth, How to Wolf-Proof Your Kids, Making Sense of Mary, Hostile Witnesses, and Revolt Against Reality.
All are welcome to join this engaging exploration of Scripture and the prophecies that point to Christ.
