Renowned scripture scholar, Dr. Mary Healy, will present “The Holy Spirit in the Life of Mary” as part of the Diocese of Saginaw’s Year of the Holy Spirit speaker series. Dr. Healy was one of the first three women ever appointed to the Vatican’s Pontifical Biblical Commission and, in 2025, was appointed by Pope Francis to serve on the Vatican’s Dicastery for Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments. Her visit gives the Diocese of Saginaw a unique opportunity to hear from a nationally and internationally respected Catholic scholar on the role of the Holy Spirit in the life of Mary.
