Fr. Marquis is no stranger to the Why Be Catholic community—his previous presentation during our Divine Mercy weekend, featuring the blessed relics of St. Faustina and St. Pope John Paul II, left a lasting impression. Now, he returns to share his personal story of faith, growing up in a devout Catholic home in the 1950s, during a time when his family faced heartbreaking health challenges.Through it all, God reached into the heart of a young boy with comfort, hope, and a call to serve. Fr. Marquis’s testimony is both tender and powerful—a reminder that even in the darkest moments, grace can shine through.
