Vic Michaels, director of the Catholic High School League for the Archdiocese of Detroit, was recently re-elected to continue as the representative of private and parochial high schools on the Representative Council, the legislative body of the Michigan High School Athletic Association.

Michaels has been on the 19-member council, which meets three times annually, since 2003. In 2005, he was appointed secretary-treasurer of the five-member Executive Board that convenes monthly during the school year.

He is in his 23rd year of CHSL administration: eight as associate director, the last 15 years as director.
