"Give them some food yourselves.” As always, Jesus’ words to His disciples are also His words to us. In the Gospel reading for August 2, 2026, the 18th Sunday in Ordinary Time, we are called not only to receive Christ ourselves in the Eucharist, but also to recognize and serve Him in those who hunger and need our care.
