In this homily for Oct. 4, 2026, the 27th Sunday in Ordinary Time, Archbishop Weisenburger reflects on the Gospel parable's lesson that small acts of sin can grow into serious wrongdoing. Fortunately, the opposite is also true: Great acts of holiness grow from a lifetime of kindness and charity. Our lives are shaped by what we choose to do, “one step at a time."
