Archbishop Edward J. Weisenburger announces the following appointments:
Fr. Stephen Reckker granted senior status, effective Sept. 3, 2025. Fr. Reckker currently serves as a member of the In Solidum team of priests who pastor SS. John and Paul Parish, Washington Township; St. Clement of Rome Parish, Romeo; and St. John Vianney Parish, Shelby Township, which form the Northwest Macomb Family of Parishes.
Fr. Christopher Talbot appointed full-time priest support to SS. John and Paul Parish, Washington Township; St. Clement of Rome Parish, Romeo; and St. John Vianney Parish, Shelby Township, which form the Northwest Macomb Family of Parishes, effective Sept. 1, 2025. Fr. Talbot will serve primarily at St. Clement of Rome Parish, Romeo. Fr. Talbot currently serves as Moderator and a member of the in solidum team of priests who pastor Nativity of Our Lord Parish, Detroit; Sacred Heart Parish, Detroit; St. Augustine and St. Monica Parish, Detroit; St. Charles Borromeo Parish, Detroit; and St. Elizabeth Parish, Detroit, which form the Detroit Lower Eastside Family of Parishes.
