Archbishop Edward J. Weisenburger announces the following appointment:
Fr. Sahaya Arul Alex, SAC, with the concurrence of his superior, Very Reverend Emmanuel Savariaradimai, SAC, appointed Full-Time Priest Support to the In Solidum team of priests who pastor St. Francis of Assisi - St. Maximilian Kolbe Parish, Ray Township; St. Isidore Parish, Macomb Township; and St. Therese of Lisieux Parish, Shelby Township, which form the Disciples Unleashed Family of Parishes, effective July 1, 2025. Fr. Alex will serve primarily at St. Therese of Lisieux Parish, Shelby Township, and will reside at St. Isidore Parish, Macomb Township. Fr. Alex currently serves as a member of the In Solidum team of priests who pastor St. Kieran Parish, Shelby Township; St. Lawrence Parish, Utica; and St. Matthias Parish, Sterling Heights, which form the North Macomb 1 Family of Parishes.
