Archbishop Edward J. Weisenburger announces the following appointments:
Fr. Marco Brioschi, PIME, with the concurrence of his superior, Very Reverend Amani Joseph Kouadio, PIME, appointed Full-time Priest Support to San Francesco (Italian) Parish, Clinton Township; St. Hubert Parish, Harrison Township; St. Louis Parish, Clinton Township; and St. Peter Parish, Mount Clemens, which form the Central Macomb 1 Family of Parishes, effective Sept. 6, 2025. It is anticipated that Fr. Brioschi will serve primarily at San Francesco (Italian) Parish, Clinton Township. Fr. Brioschi currently ministers outside the Archdiocese of Detroit.
Fr. Salvatore Palazzolo appointed Full-Time Priest Support to the Cathedral of the Most Blessed Sacrament, Detroit; St. Aloysius Parish, Detroit; and St. Mary (Greektown) Parish, Detroit, which form the Resurget Cineribus Family of Parishes, effective Oct. 1, 2025. It is anticipated that Fr. Palazzolo will serve primarily at St. Aloysius Parish, Detroit. This appointment is in addition to Fr. Palazzolo's responsibilities as Judicial Vicar of the Archdiocese of Detroit.
