Archbishop Edward J. Weisenburger announces the following appointments:
Fr. Mark Borkowski appointed Full-Time Priest Support to Christ the Good Shepherd Parish, Lincoln Park; Our Lady of the Scapular Parish, Wyandotte; St. Pius X Parish, Southgate; and St. Vincent Pallotti Parish, Wyandotte, which form the Central Downriver Family of Parishes, effective September 22, 2025. Fr. Borkowski previously served as a member of the In Solidum team of priests who pastor Christ the Good Shepherd Parish, Lincoln Park; Our Lady of the Scapular Parish, Wyandotte; St. Pius X Parish, Southgate; and St. Vincent Pallotti Parish, Wyandotte, which form the Central Downriver Family of Parishes.
Fr. Marco Kiyan, PES, with the concurrence of his superior, Very Reverend Alvaro Perez, PES, appointed Full-Time Priest Support to Corpus Christi Parish, Detroit; SS. Peter and Paul (Westside) Parish, Detroit; and St. Mary of Redford Parish, Detroit, which form the One in the Spirit Family of Parishes, effective Oct. 1, 2025. It is anticipated that Fr. Kiyan will serve primarily at Corpus Christi Parish, Detroit. This appointment is in addition to Fr. Kiyan's responsibilities as Administrator of Presentation/Our Lady of Victory Parish, Detroit; and St. Scholastica Parish, Detroit, which form the Central Trinity 4 Family of Parishes.
