Archdiocese of Detroit clergy appointments: Jan. 10, 2022

Archbishop Allen H. Vigneron announces the following appointments:

Fr. Tomas Miliauskas, MIC, with the concurrence of his Superior General, Fr. Andrzej Pakula, MIC, to be appointed a member of the In Solidum team of priests who will pastor Church of the Transfiguration Parish, Southfield; Divine Providence (Lithuanian) Parish, Southfield; Our Lady of La Salette Parish, Berkley; Our Mother of Perpetual Help Parish, Oak Park, that form the South Oakland Vicariate Family 5, effective December 6, 2021. Father Miliauskas previously served outside of the Archdiocese of Detroit.

Fr. Norman Nawrocki, granted senior status, effective July 1, 2022. Fr. Nawrocki currently serves as a member of the In Solidum team of priests who pastor St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish, Troy; St. Lucy (Croatian) Parish, Troy; St. Anastasia Parish, Troy; Guardian Angels Parish, Clawson; Christ Our Light Parish, Troy, that form the South Oakland Vicariate Family 1.

Fr. Jerome Slowinski, granted senior status, effective July 1, 2022. Fr. Slowinski currently serves as a member of the In Solidum team of priests who pastor St. Malachy Parish, Sterling Heights; St. Paul of Tarsus Parish, Clinton Township; St. Ronald Parish, Clinton Township; St. Thecla Parish, Clinton Township, that form the Central Macomb Vicariate Family 5.
