Archbishop Allen H. Vigneron announces the following appointments:
Fr. Paul Ballien, appointed director of the Society of the Propagation of the Faith for the Archdiocese of Detroit, effective Aug. 1, 2023, in addition to his current responsibilities as pastor of St. John Neumann Parish, Canton, and administrator of Resurrection Parish, Canton.
Fr. Philip Ching, appointed full-time hospital ministry as chaplain with Ascension Health System, effective July 1, 2023. Fr. Ching previously served as pastor of Holy Family Parish, Memphis; St. Augustine Parish, Richmond; St. Mary Mystical Rose Parish, Armada, that form The Merciful Love of Jesus Family of Parishes.
