Archbishop Allen H. Vigneron announces the following appointments:

Fr. Mark Brauer appointed moderator of the In Solidum team of priests who, with the other priests of the team, will lead the newly formed South Oakland Vicariate Family 3 (Sacred Heart Parish, Auburn Hills; St. Damien of Molokai Parish, Pontiac; St. Hugo of the Hills Parish, Bloomfield Hills; St. Thomas More Parish, Troy), effective July 1, 2021. Fr. Brauer is currently serving as pastor of Our Lady of Sorrows, Farmington.

Fr. Richard Cavellier granted senior status, effective July 1, 2021. Fr. Cavellier is currently serving as pastor of Sacred Heart Parish, Auburn Hills.

Fr. Gerard Frawley, SAC, pastor of St. Anne Parish, Ortonville, will be completing his service as pastor, effective Aug. 31, 2021.

Fr. Joseph Mallia appointed temporary administrator of St. John Vianney Parish, Shelby Township, effective March 22, 2021, in addition to his current responsibilities as pastor of St. Kieran Parish, Shelby Township.

Fr. Timothy Mazur granted temporary medical leave of absence, effective March 22, 2021. Fr. Mazur currently serves as pastor of St. John Vianney Parish, Shelby Township.
