Archdiocese of Detroit clergy appointments: March 8, 2021

Archbishop Allen H. Vigneron announces the following appointments:

Fr. John Maksym appointed pastor of St. Peter Parish, Mount Clemens, effective Oct. 1, 2021. Fr. Maksym is currently completing studies in canon law at The Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C.

Fr. Daniel Jones granted a medical leave of absence, effective March 1, 2021. Fr. Jones currently serves as pastor of St. John Fisher Chapel University Parish, Auburn Hills, and on the faculty at Sacred Heart Major Seminary, Detroit.

Fr. James Kean appointed temporary administrator of St. John Fisher Chapel University Parish, Auburn Hills, effective March 1, 2021, in addition to his continuing responsibilities as pastor of St. Joseph the Worker Parish, Lake Orion.

Msgr. Gerald McEnhill appointed moderator of the In Solidum team of priests who, with the other priests of the team, will lead the newly formed Lakes Vicariate Family 3 (Our Lady of Refuge Parish, Orchard Lake; Prince of Peace Parish, West Bloomfield; St. Benedict Parish, Waterford), effective July 1, 2021. Msgr. McEnhill currently serves as pastor of Our Lady of Refuge Parish, Orchard Lake.

Fr. Stephen Pullis appointed a full-time faculty and external formation position at Sacred Heart Major Seminary, effective July 1, 2021. Fr. Pullis currently serves as director of the Department of Evangelization and Missionary Discipleship within the archdiocesan curia.
