Catholic high schools to host regional information nights

Detroit — Seven regional high school informational events will be held across Metro Detroit over the next month offering prospective Catholic school families the chance to learn more about a Catholic secondary education.

The events, spread over a wide geographic area, are a new feature for local Catholic high schools. In prior years, many Catholic grade schools held individual high school nights. Every archdiocesan Catholic high school will be represented at each of the seven events, allowing prospective families to compare admission requirements, information and benefits of each school.

Each regional high school night will be from 5-8 p.m. The schedule is:

  • Wednesday, Sept. 30, at Madonna University in Livonia

  • Monday, Oct. 5, at University of Detroit Mercy in Detroit

  • Thursday, Oct. 8, at Macomb Community College in Warren

  • Monday, Oct. 12, at the University of Michigan-Dearborn

  • Wednesday, Oct. 14, at Oakland University in Rochester

  • Monday, Oct. 19, at Renaissance Baronette Hotel in Novi

  • Thursday, Oct. 29, at Oakland Community College in Highland Lakes/Waterford

The regional information nights are in addition to individual high school open houses, which are held throughout the fall at each high school campus.
