DETROIT — To reach the broader public with a pro-life message on Respect Life Sunday, the Gospel of Life Committee at St. Sebastian Parish in Dearborn Heights launched a campaign to place a half-page advertisement in the Sunday, Oct. 2, issue of the Sunday Free Press.

The headline on the ad will read, “The Right to Life is the Ultimate Human and Civil Rights Issue.” It will show a baby in the womb and include a prayer.

The committee enlisted the support of Sacred Heart, St. Joseph and St. Martha parishes, Dearborn, St. Sabina Parish, Dearborn Heights, St. Anthony Parish, Belleville, St. Stephen Parish, New Boston, St. Pius X Parish, Southgate, Fr. Patrick O’Kelley K of C Council 3860, Dearborn, Right to Life of Taylor and Teachers Saving Children of Michigan.

About 150 individuals have also contributed to the effort.
