DEARBORN — Approximately 600 women gathered at the Ford Community and Performing Arts Center on Oct. 10 for the 17th annual Hispanic Women's Conference hosted by the Archdiocese of Detroit's Department of Evangelization and Missionary Discipleship.
The full day included three keynote speakers, Mass with Detroit Archbishop Edward J. Weisenburger, a special program for teenagers, and fellowship with opportunities to support local businesses and learn about different Hispanic ministries in southeast Michigan.
The penultimate moment occurred at the end of the day: A time of prayer and worship before the exposed Blessed Sacrament.
