DETROIT ─ 52 Sunday, the Catholic lifestyle brand initially launched by the Archdiocese of Detroit’s Department of Evangelization, Catechesis and Schools, will become an evergreen site, where all of its original content will remain, but it will cease publishing new content.
52 Sundays was launched in 2019 as a roadmap for families to live Sundays together, providing information about saints, recipes for families to make together, devotions families can practice at home, and various ways to live an authentic Catholic life.
The website features the readings from Sunday Mass for all three years of the liturgical cycle, along with discussion topics and suggested family activities.
"With the content update, we also redesigned the site with a fresh look," Brooke Warren, associate director for family ministry in the Archdiocese of Detroit's Department of Evangelization and Missionary Discipleship, told Detroit Catholic. "Users will still see the content for the upcoming Sunday on the homepage, along with a list of saints with upcoming feast days and recipes for the liturgical season. A new feature we added is a searchable database for the saints' biographies and recipes."
People can visit 52 Sundays at 52sundays.com.
"52 Sundays has been a great tool for families and parishes to reclaim Sunday," Warren said. "We hope that the redesign and update to evergreen content will allow those who utilize 52 Sundays to plan ahead and find more content to use with families."
