Fr. Arthur J. Steslicki passed from this life on July 16, 2022, at the age of 97.
Fr. Steslicki was born on Dec. 13, 1924, and ordained a priest for the Archdiocese of Detroit on June 1, 1951. Fr. Steslicki left active ministry on Oct. 1, 1964, and had his faculties partially restored on Dec. 5, 2021.
Fr. Steslicki is predeceased by his parents, Peter and Pauline, as well as 10 siblings. He is survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will take place at The Allen Park Chapel of The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 10915 Allen Road, Allen Park, MI 48101, on Tuesday, July 26, 2022, from 1 – 9 p.m. with a Rosary at 7 p.m. Father Steslicki will lie in state at St. Frances Cabrini Parish, 9000 Laurence, Allen Park, MI 48101 on Wednesday, July 27, from 10 a.m. until the time of his funeral Mass at 11 a.m.
