Priests of the Archdiocese of Detroit gathered Sept. 1, 2026, at Sacred Heart Major Seminary in prayer, reflection and fraternity as they navigate this time of change in the local Church during the archdiocesan restructuring process.
As the Archdiocese of Detroit prepares to release the second round of draft pastorate models in October, these monthly sessions are focused on equipping priests with the resources and support they need to help their parishioners process the changes ahead and faithfully walk with their communities through the restructuring process.
Fr. Mario Amore, director of the archdiocesan Department of Parish Renewal, shares more about how the archdiocese is accompanying and supporting its priests, reminding them that they do not walk this process alone.
