Sr. Diana Miller, OP, formerly Mary Agatha Miller, died April 14 at the Dominican Life Center in Adrian. She was 98 and in her 78th year in the Adrian Dominican Congregation.

Sr. Miller was born in Royal Oak to William and Lucy (MacArthur) Miller. She earned her degree from Siena Heights College (University) in Adrian and was certified as a health assistant and chaplain.

Sr. Miller ministered for 58 years in elementary education in Michigan, Illinois and California. In Michigan, she taught at St. Paul, Owosso (1939-43); St. Joseph, Adrian (1951-53); Our Lady Gate of Heaven, Detroit (1953-54); St. John, Ubly (1954-60); Guardian Angels, Clawson (1960-63); St. Joseph, Belding (1963-66, including as principal); St. Pius X, Southgate (1966-67); and Precious Blood, Detroit. She also served as a driver and shopper for the Dominican Life Center in Adrian for one year.

A funeral Mass was celebrated for Sr. Miller in St. Catherine Chapel on April 18. Rite of Committal was in the Congregation cemetery.
