
Sr. Belsito was born in Lansing to Joseph and Louise (Filice) Belsito. She graduated from Resurrection High School in Lansing and received degrees in English and education from Siena Heights College (University) in Adrian.
Sr. Belsito spent 27 years ministering in elementary education in Michigan, Illinois and Florida. In Michigan, she taught at Holy Name, Detroit (1951); Good Shepherd, Lincoln Park (1976-77); St. Michael, Grand Ledge (1977-79); and St. Suzanne, Detroit (1979-80). She was a secretary/typist at Siena Heights College for two years (1981-83), and general assistant at Maria Health Care Center/ Dominican Life Center in Adrian for 28 years (1983-2011).
Sr. Belsito is survived by a two sisters: Janet Alrick of Lansing and Kate Bozzo of Ormond Beach, Fla.; and two brothers: Sam Belsito of Lansing and Phil Belsito of Huntington Beach, Calif.
A funeral Mass was July 6 in St. Catherine Chapel in Adrian. The Rite of Committal was to be in the Congregation cemetery.
