Sr. Virginia Therese Conway, formerly Eleanor Conway, died Sept. 10 at the Dominican Life Center in Adrian. She was 90 and in her 69th year as a religious sister.

Sr. Conway was born in Chicago to William and Eleanor (Brown) Conway. She earned degrees from Siena Heights College (University) in Adrian and Loyola University in Chicago.

In Michigan, she ministered as a teacher at St. Mary High School in Adrian (1948) and as a nurse aide at Lynn Hospital in Lincoln Park. She also ministered in for many years in Illinois.

Sister Virginia Therese is survived by nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial was offered Sept. 19 in St. Catherine Chapel. Burial will be in the Congregation cemetery.
