Over the weekend of Sept. 12-13, young people from Most Holy Redeemer Parish in southwest Detroit participated in two separate spiritually enriching retreat experiences. More than 30 young men involved in the parish's altar serving ministry — Monaguillos — participated in a retreat, and the parish's young adult group, Grupo Frassati, hosted a retreat, called "Alive," for more than 50 young adults in Michigan's Upper Peninsula.
