Archbishop Edward J. Weisenburger prays at the tomb of Pope Francis at the Basilica of St. Mary Major in Rome. Pope Francis appointed Archbishop Weisenburger as archbishop of Detroit shortly before the pope's death on April 21. Archbishop Weisenburger is in Rome after receiving his pallium from Pope Francis' successor, Pope Leo XIV, on June 29.
