Archbishop announces new terms for vicars, Presbyteral Council

Detroit — Fifteen priests will serve two-year terms as vicars representing vicariates of the Archdiocese of Detroit beginning July 1. The appointments, named by Archbishop Allen H. Vigneron and announced to parishes June 24, mean those priests will also serve a two-year term as representatives on the archdiocesan Presbyteral Council, the main consultative body that advises and assists Archbishop Allen H. Vigneron in pastoral matters.

The Presbyteral Council also includes 19 other priests in various ministries, including religious order priests, senior priests, pastors, associate pastors and priests of specialized ministry.
