Archdiocese of Detroit clergy announcements: March 25, 2024

Archbishop Allen H. Vigneron announces the following appointments:

Fr. Dik Cekrezi, with the concurrence of his bishop, Most Reverend Simon Kulli, appointed parochial vicar (associate pastor) of Our Lady of Albanians Parish, Southfield and St. Paul (Albanian) Parish, Rochester Hills, effective March 15, 2024. Fr. Cekrezi previously served outside the Archdiocese of Detroit.

Fr. Frederik Kalaj appointed pastor of Our Lady of Albanians Parish, Southfield, and St. Paul (Albanian) Parish, Rochester Hills, effective March 1, 2024. Fr. Kalaj previously served as a member of the in solidum team of priests who served Our Lady of Albanians Parish, Southfield and St. Paul (Albanian) Parish, Rochester Hills, that formed South Oakland Vicariate Family 6.

Fr. John Kiselica granted senior status, effective April 1, 2024. Fr. Kiselica currently serves as a member of the in solidum team of priests who pastor St. Paul of Tarsus Parish, Clinton Township; St. Malachy Parish, Sterling Heights; St. Ronald Parish, Clinton Township; and St. Thecla Parish, Clinton Township, that form Central Macomb Vicariate Family 5.

Fr. Johny Chellaswamy Suseela, with the concurrence of is bishop, Most Reverend Vincent Mar Paulos, appointed full-time priest support at Immaculate Conception Parish, Ira Township; Our Lady on the River Parish, Marine City; St. Mary Parish, St. Clair; and St. Mary, Queen of Creation Parish, New Baltimore, that form Blue Water Southern Family of Parishes, effective July 1, 2024. Fr. Suseela will live and serve primarily at Our Lady on the River Parish, Marine City, under the mentorship of Fr. John Dumas. Fr. Suseela previously served outside the Archdiocese of Detroit.
