TROY — Priests, deacons, ministry leaders, catechists, teachers, coaches and volunteers who serve young people and their families across the Archdiocese of Detroit gathered Sept. 18 and 19 at St. Anastasia Catholic Church in Troy for the semi-annual "Engaging the Young Church" conference, hosted by the Archdiocese's Office of Youth Ministry.
Inspired by Hebrews 10:24-25, participants attended workshops and engaged with powerful presentations by Michael Marchand, president and co-founder of ProjectYM. Participants were invited to engage in prayer, reflection, and fellowship, discerning how God is calling them to deepen relationships with young people and to accompany them more intentionally in faith.
