DETROIT — On Aug. 26, Pope Leo XIV announced Detroit’s Bishop Arturo Cepeda would be returning to the Archdiocese of San Antonio, Texas — a place that’s “home” to the longtime Detroit auxiliary bishop.
After 14 years in Detroit, Bishop Cepeda sat down with Detroit Catholic to reflect upon the blessings he’s received in the Motor City, the graces ahead, and to say “thank you” to the people of southeast Michigan for their friendship, love and support.
