Clawson pastor remains out to address ‘personal matters,’ not charged after investigation

Clawson – After a Madison Heights police investigation concluded in May with no criminal charges against him, Fr. Gerry LeBoeuf, pastor of Guardian Angels Parish in Clawson since 2005 and president of Bishop Foley High School since 2008, remains out of ministry to address pre-existing personal matters. These matters are not criminal in nature and are unrelated to the investigation. More detailed information is provided in a June 23 letter from Auxiliary Bishop Arturo Cepeda to the parishioners and school families, available at www.guardiana.com.

Fr. Anthony Richter has been appointed temporary administrator of Guardian Angels Parish, effective July 14, in addition to his continuing responsibilities as pastor of Christ the Good Shepherd Parish in Lincoln Park. He will be taking over for Msgr. Timothy Hogan, who has been temporary administrator at the Clawson parish since April 26.

Kevin Kijewski, superintendent of Catholic schools for the Archdiocese of Detroit, continues to act as interim president of Bishop Foley High School.
