Bruder, Corinne L., 88, passed away peacefully on Aug. 28, 2013, in the home of her daughter, Clare Kolevar, and family of Ann Arbor, Mich. Born on Nov. 23, 1924, in Detroit to the late Leo and Lillian Schmidt. Corinne graduated from St. Theresa’s High School and the University of Detroit. She married Patrick Bruder in 1946 and raised their 12 children in Southfield, Mich. Preceded in death by her husband Patrick in 1998, daughter Joan in 2012, and grandson Austin in 2008, as well as sisters Mary Jane and Lucille and brother Tom. Survived by 11 children, 42 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren. Also survived by sisters Eleanor and Virginia, brother Robert, and many nieces and nephews. Mass of Resurrection was celebrated Sept. 3, 2013, at St. Mary Student Chapel in Ann Arbor, Mich. Burial was at Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery in Southfield, Mich.
