Detroit — The Archdiocese of Detroit recognized permanent deacons who are celebrating significant anniversaries of their ordination this year at an April 28 Mass and dinner at Sacred Heart Major Seminary.

This year three deacons are celebrating 40-year anniversaries, seven are marking 35 years, seven are celebrating 30 years of service, two marking 25 years, eight marking 20 years, two marking 15 years, 11 marking 10 years, and 11 observing their five-year ordination anniversary.
