Boston — Fr. Daniel Pajerski, LC, formation director at Everest Collegiate High School in Clarkston, was not injured in the explosions that killed two people and injured several dozen April 15 during the Boston Marathon, The Michigan Catholic has learned.
Fr. Pajerski, an avid runner, was a participant in the prestigious race, according to a spokeswoman for the Legionaries of Christ.
A Facebook update from Fr. Pajerski’s sister said he had finished the race about an hour before the blasts were reported near the finish line. “We are safe back at the hotel in Cambridge. We left the city just as emergency vehicles were going all around us. Thank you, God!” the Facebook update read.
A spokesman for the Legionaries said prayers were being asked for all those injured or killed.
