Madonna professor up for GRAMMY

— Linette Popoff-Parks, a professor of music who has taught at Madonna University for 34 years, is one of nine Michigan quarterfinalists for the second annual Music Educator Award presented by The Recording Academy and the GRAMMY Foundation. The award honors educators who have shown a dedication to teaching music in schools and who have made a broad impact on their students. Popoff-Parks has served as chairwoman of the music department at Madonna University for 19 years and helped establish the state’s only academic major in film scoring.
