Junior Alexa Finger put in the first, and winning, goal just three minutes into the game, as Bishop Foley struggled all afternoon to move the ball into the Marian zone. Marian senior Elizabeth Tresnak added a goal late in the game. Junior Mackenzie Larson came up with some big saves when Bishop Foley did get their opportunities, and earned the shutout in goal.

Elsewhere in the Catholic League on Wednesday, Livonia Ladywood topped Pontiac Notre Dame Prep by a 2-1 score, Warren Regina blanked Ann Arbor Gabriel Richard 4-0, and the combined team of Waterford Our Lady of the Lakes and Clarkston Everest Collegiate beat out Lutheran North in a 3-0 shutout.
