May They Rest in Peace: Sr. Rosalyn Seda, OP

Sr. Rosalyn Seda, OP, 96, entered eternal life March 1, 2020. 

Born in Carnegie, Pennsylvania, Mildred was the daughter of deceased Frank and Marie (Ovesny) Seda, sister of deceased Mary Lauro and William Seda and sister of Joseph and Richard Tejkl. 

Funeral Mass was celebrated Friday, March 6, at the Lourdes Chapel of the Lourdes Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Waterford.
Sr. Rosalyn Seda, OP

Member of the Dominican Sister of Oxford for 71 years. Sister Rosalyn lived an additional 11 years in the union of eight Dominican congregations that became the Dominican Sisters of Peace. Sister ministered in many capacities in many places. Those ministries included dietician, caregiver, pastoral minister, gardener and housekeeper. Her early years were spent in Illinois and Pennsylvania. Later, Sister Rosalyn served at Lourdes Senior Community in Waterford as well as in Oxford and Pontiac. 

The Funeral Mass will be at the Lourdes Chapel of the Lourdes Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, 2300 Watkins Lake Road, in Waterford on Friday, March 06, 2020 at 11 a.m. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. with sharing of memories at 10:45 prior to the Mass.
