ORCHARD LAKE — On Friday, Aug. 15, Our Lady of Refuge Parish in Orchard Lake and the Knights of Columbus Msgr. Sharp Council 600 hosted residents of Angels Place for a special Mass, banquet and "Miracle League" softball event.
Angels Place, which offers professional services and support for people with developmental disabilities, partnered with the parish and Knights council to provide a "joyful event" for residents and an afternoon of faith, fun and smiles. Approximately 100 residents and staff participated in the Mass, banquet and softball outing.
