Sr. Anna Weiss (Sr. Mary of the Holy Child), 90, died Sept. 19. She was the dear sister of Urban Weiss and Mary Anne Weiss-Henry, loving aunt to many nieces and nephews, great- and great-great nieces and nephews. Sister entered the monastery in Newark, N.J., and pledged her first profession of religious vows on Sept. 12, 1947. She took her solemn vows on Sept. 12, 1950. She transferred to the Monastery of the Blessed Sacrament in Farmington Hills on Nov. 29, 2003, when the Newark monastery closed. Services were held at the monastery.
