Survey seeks thoughts, opinions of Metro Detroit’s Catholics

Detroit — Between Nov. 2-10, all Catholics in the Archdiocese of Detroit will be invited to take part in a wide-ranging survey regarding various ministries and aspects of parish life, as well as personal worship habits and preferences.

The survey, which is divided into three parts, seeks to gain a better understanding of parishioners’ attitudes and practices such as Mass attendance, thoughts about challenges facing the Church, volunteer habits and other areas of faith and parish life. The survey also seeks to gain a clearer picture of the successes and challenges of parishes in meeting several areas of ministerial focus related to the Together in Faith pastoral plan, such as Christian service and outreach, vocations and youth and young adult ministries.

Announcements regarding the survey will be made to parishioners during Masses the first full week in November, and Catholics can participate by visiting www.aod.org
