'The One Who Calms the Seas': Archbishop Weisenburger's Sunday Homily (19th Sunday in Ordinary Time)

Like Peter, we can become overwhelmed when we take our eyes off Jesus and focus only on the storms around us. But in this homily reflection for August 9, 2026, the 19th Sunday in Ordinary Time, Archbishop Weisenburger reminds us that Jesus is always near, extending His hand and calling us back to faith. May we have the courage to look to Him and proclaim: “Truly, you are the Son of God.”
