On Sunday, Aug. 30, Archbishop Weisenburger, Bishop Fisher and Bishop Monforton met with the four permanent deacon candidates and their wives for the Archdiocese of Detroit, who will be ordained Oct. 5. The four candidates, Kurt Krueger (Mary), Jeff Ostrowski (Erin), Ron Potempski (Marie) and Jim Pryce (Denise), made their oaths of allegiance.
