On Monday, Oct. 19, Archbishop Weisenburger, met with local members of the Detroit Oakland Serra Club, a Catholic organization dedicated to promoting and supporting vocations to the priesthood, diaconate, and consecrated religious life. Members pray for vocations, encourage those discerning their calling, and support priests, religious sisters and brothers, and seminarians through fellowship and service to the Church. The organization presented the archbishop, Fr. Matthew Hood, director of priestly vocations, and Fr. Mario Amore, director of seminarians, with a generous donation of $7,000 to support the Office of Priestly Vocations.
