On Oct. 7, Archbishop Weisenburger celebrated the sacrament of confirmation of 71 young people at St. John Vianney Parish in Shelby Township. One of the sacraments of initiation, confirmation invites the Holy Spirit to dwell with those being confirmed in a powerful way as they go forward to live their lives as Christians commissioned by the Lord to go into the world and spread the Gospel.
