Archbishop Edward J. Weisenburger announces the following appointments:
Fr. Brendan McCarrick, SAC, with the concurrence of his superior, Very Reverend Liam Mc Clarey, SAC, appointed Moderator of the Priests In Solidum who pastor Christ the Good Shepherd Parish, Lincoln Park; Our Lady of the Scapular Parish, Wyandotte; St. Pius X Parish, Southgate; and St. Vincent Pallotti Parish, Wyandotte, which form the Central Downriver Family of Parishes, effective Jan. 13, 2026. This is in addition to Fr. McCarrick's current responsibilities as a member of the In Solidum team of priests who pastor Christ the Good Shepherd Parish, Lincoln Park; Our Lady of the Scapular Parish, Wyandotte; St. Pius X Parish, Southgate; and St. Vincent Pallotti Parish, Wyandotte, which form the Central Downriver Family of Parishes.
Fr. Nicholas Zukowski granted Senior Status, effective Jan. 25, 2026. Fr. Zukowski currently serves as a member of the In Solidum team of priests who pastor St. Blase Parish, Sterling Heights; St. Ephrem Parish, Sterling Heights; St. Martin de Porres Parish, Warren; and St. Michael Parish, Sterling Heights, which form the Saints Among the Saints Family of Parishes. At the moment, Fr. Zukowski is on a medical leave of absence.
