DETROIT ─ Holy Redeemer Parish in Detroit hosted the REVIVE course for the 14th consecutive year, welcoming 180 participants for an 11-week course that teaches the basics of the Catholic faith.
REVIVE seeks to evangelize those who are searching and helps deepen the faith of those already practicing, organizers said.
“A retreat in the middle helps set participants on fire through their encounter with Christ,” Sr. Mary Elizabeth Albers, SOLT, admin support specialist at Holy Redeemer School in Detroit, said. “We’re grateful for everyone who makes this journey possible and the way the Holy Spirit continues to renew our parish through REVIVE year after year.”
