Deacon Charles “Bob” Dreyer passed on from this life on April 10, 2026, at the age of 89. Deacon Dreyer was predeceased by his beloved wife, Mary Kay, and is survived by 2 children, 4 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren.
Deacon Dreyer was born November 21, 1936, and was ordained to the Permanent Diaconate on October 6, 2007.
Deacon Dreyer served his first assignment at St. Maurice Parish in Livonia from the time of his ordination until 2009, followed by an assignment at St. William Parish in Walled Lake, until the time of his retirement in 2021.
Deacon Dreyer's visitation will take place on Thursday, April 16, 2025, from 2 - 8 p.m. at Lynch and Sons Funeral Home, 340 North Pontiac Trail, Walled Lake, MI 48390, with a scripture service taking place at 7 p.m.
Deacon Dreyer’s funeral Mass will take place on Friday, April 17, 2025, at 10 a.m., at St. William Parish, 531 Common St., Walled Lake, MI 48390. In state will begin at 9 a.m.
