Fr. Luke Krotkiewicz passed away Sunday, March 29, 2026. He was 68 years old.
Fr. Krotkiewicz was born in Ukta, Poland, on Oct. 18, 1957. He was ordained to the priesthood on June 11, 1983, in the Archdiocese of Warmia, Poland. Fr. Krotkiewicz served as a chaplain at the Karmanos Cancer Institute, Southfield; Saint Brendan Elementary, Detroit; and at Henry Ford Bi-County Osteopathic Hospital, Warren.
Per Father Krotkiewicz’s wishes, a private service was held for him at Gramer Funeral Home and his remains have been sent to his family in Poland, where Mass will be offered for him.
