Sr. Patricia Whalen, CSJ, of Nazareth, age 78, died on October 2, 2025.
She was born August 19, 1947 in Highland Park, MI to Raymond and Cecilia Ptak (Bird) Whalen, and was a member of the Congregation of St. Joseph. Sr. Patricia was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her brother Michael (Theresa), her niece Jenny Ball, and great nephew Patrick Ball.
A rosary will take place on Monday, October 13, 2025, at 4 PM at Nazareth Center Chapel. Funeral service and mass will take place and be live-streamed (link at BetzlerLifeStory.com) on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at 10 AM at Nazareth Center Chapel. Burial at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Nazareth, MI.
