Archbishop Weisenburger preaches July 27 at the Pax Christi USA National Conference, a three-day gathering of the national Pax Christi USA apostolate, which took place at Detroit's Renaissance Center over the weekend. The conference's theme, "Reclaiming the Power of Nonviolence in a Broken World," highlighted the need for peace and healing around the world and included a papal message from Pope Leo XIV.

Archbishop Edward J. Weisenburger hosted a dinner for Archbishop-emeritus Allen H. Vigneron on the occasion of Archbishop Vigneron's 29th anniversary of episcopal ordination. Archbishop Edward J. Weisenburger, accompanied by Auxiliary Bishop Arturo Cepeda, met at the archdiocesan Chancery with representatives of Missio ad Gentes ministry in the Archdiocese of Detroit. Missio ad Gentes is devoted to the evangelization of families, announcing the good news especially to the poor and marginalized.
